Fellowship Groups
If you would like to become more connected in community at Redeemer Montclair, we encourage you to get involved in one of our Fellowship Groups. Fellowship groups are micro-communities where you can find relationship, mutual support, practical love and service, learning about the Christian faith, prayer, and sharing of what we see God doing in our midst.
Although the Bible does not command us to organize a small-group ministry, it does assume significant community life within the church. When this community life does not happen organically (like in the early church or in smaller rural churches), the church must cultivate it by organizing the church into small nurturing communities. Fellowship Groups are gatherings of six to 12 people meeting in individual apartments and homes throughout the Montclair area during the week. These groups are led by trained and supported lay leaders.
They are the primary place for pastoral care at Redeemer. Therefore, we hope that a great majority of Redeemer members and attenders will be involved in these groups. For more information, contact us.
