Meet at Jackals Stadium at 6:45PM this Saturday, July 31.  The cost is $10.

New Children’s Ministry Schedule

A new schedule for Redeemer Kids is in the works for September through December.  If you are not currently serving in the Redeemer Kids ministry on Sunday mornings, please consider if this is an area where you can serve, whether it’s holding babies in the nursery, supervising playing toddlers, or teaching Sunday school.  If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the church office at 973.233.0388 or admin@redeemermontclair this week!

New Children’s Ministry Director Needed in the Fall

Please pray for God’s guidance as Redeemer Montclair begins to search for a Children’s Ministry Director.  All members who fit the qualifications are eligible to apply.  Please consider whether you or anyone you know would be a good fit for this paid part-time position.  The job descriptions and application are available in the church office.

Connect at Redeemer

Information about Redeemer Montclair can be found at the Connections Table located on the front right side of the sanctuary.  If you are new to Redeemer or would like to connect with the life of this church, please contact Barb Noll at 973.338.8617 or the church office.  On Sunday, August 8, there will be an opportunity to learn more about Redeemer and its ministries.  A few ministry leaders will be available for informal discussion directly following the worship service.

Sundays in the Park

Everyone is invited to meet in Brookdale Park for a picnic lunch after the worship service on August 15. We will meet in the center of the park, under the trees that are located south of the track.  Bring your own lunch and blanket.  Come prepared for wiffle ball!

College/Young Professionals Weekly Fellowship Group

College students and young professionals are invited to meet weekly at the church for fun, fellowship, and discussion.  We will go through Rob Bell’s NOOMA series on DVD.  Meet on Wednesday nights at 8PM in the Youth Room.  Weekly activity to follow.  Contact Chelsea Woods at chelsea.woods@villanova.edu for more information.

New Saturday Home Fellowship Group

Interested in a Saturday Home Fellowship Group in the Bloomfield area?  Pre-launch BBQs will be held at the Swansons, 383 Essex Avenue in Bloomfield, on July 17 and August 14 at 6PM. Come and eat and then spend some time dreaming, discussing, and exploring the best format for a group set to start in the fall.  Whether you have children or not, please consider coming to the BBQs if Saturdays are the best day for you to meet.  RSVP to Erik at erik@redeeemermontclair.com or 973.997.8747.

New Sunday Night Home Fellowship Group

In the fall, a new adult fellowship group hosted by Dan and Beth Hastings will meet on Sunday evenings at the church house during youth group meetings (6-8PM).  We will meet whenever the youth group meets and not on other Sundays.  The group will have fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. One Sunday a month we will go as a group to a nearby Montclair restaurant for some culinary fellowship.  Children not in the youth group are welcome but will have supervised play in a separate room and will not be part of the adult fellowship and study.  If you face the “what to do while the kids are at Youth Group” problem, or even if you don’t, please join us this fall.
