Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Colossians 3:23-24

Every person has unique, God-given gifts and He calls us to share them with others through serving. Not only do we help those whom we serve, but serving also brings us closer to Christ and develops in us the character of Christ.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

1 Peter 4:10
